Avoiding Silly Mistakes When Playing Bingo

In bingo, there are a number of skill factors that come into play when minimizing the house advantage and maximizing your chances of winning. These factors aren't based on some secret mathematical formula for success or trying to cheat, but instead are based on doing everything you can do to minimize the silly mistakes that add to the house advantage. The mistakes we're going to be talking about here are mistakes that almost everyone makes when playing bingo.

The first big mistake is playing too many cards. If you can handle one card in bingo, chances are that you can handle two or three. But once you get past four or five cards, you will start missing a lot more numbers. Each time you miss a number, you are essentially throwing away money since you will not be winning your share of rounds. The key to balancing multiple cards is to figure out how many cards you can manage without making mistakes.

The second big mistake that most people make when playing bingo is playing too many cards when they are tired or fatigued. If you can handle six cards without making any mistakes when you are 100% awake and alert, then it's very unlikely that you'll be able to handle six cards when you're fatigued. If you insist on playing when you're in this state, it's critical that you play fewer cards. You would rather choose to play one card too few than one card too many since one card too few won't cause you to make a bunch of mistakes and waste money.
